United we fall.... Or stand....

This is a true story, about my observations and experience, in trying to understand the power of participating in the collective consciousness. It can be a powerful force, to unite with others in thoughts and intentions for a good cause, but it can be very limiting, to unite with others in a collective illusion, and to subconsciously fall into collectively held limiting ideas. You can take this concept of collectively held limiting ideas, from the 'belief' in recession, and unemployment.... All the way to deeper levels, like the collectively held beliefs in the aging of the body, instead of merely stages of change and transformation..... To the collectively held beliefs in sickness and in death.... and the validity of their reality.... But I will not get into these depths here. I will give a simpler, less controversial and easier to contemplate earthly example about selling a house. Years ago, right after our marriage, my husband Jules and I, decided to sell our previous homes ...

How our inner focus shape what we see.

We were sitting at an outdoor cafe in Aspen, when my friend who is a struggling writer, told me that he feels repulsed. "What are you repulsed about?" I asked intrigued. It was a sunny summer day, and we were sitting in a lovely spot in a quiet and calm town, having a drink and a light meal.... I looked around and was honestly unable to see what could upset him so.... I wanted to know what was going on inside his mind.... "All these rich people, sitting and eating with their loving families..... I have NOTHING in common with them...." he said as he pointed to a group of about eight, silver haired people who were sharing a quiet meal, laughing and conversing quietly among themselves. I stretched my mind to see his point....but I could see none..... The women were not full of botox, or plastic surgeries, all were dressed modestly, with khaki shorts and polo shirts..... They did not treat the waiter with disrespect or argued....they were just having a brunch together.....

About the connection between TRUST and being able to sell your art.

I got an email from a friend who thanked me for the notes I wrote about abundance, about understanding money, and becoming successful as an artist. She shared with me her struggles as an artist, with heart touching honesty. She also said that from the attributes of a successful person, that I listed, she recognized that her biggest issue right now, is with TRUST. She said that she does not trust people... And prefer to keep them far removed. Trust is essential for a good exchange of energy between people, which is what selling art and buying art, really is. The artist creates an art piece which is filled with his / her personal energy, and the buyers is attracted to it, (falls in love with it), and wants to bring that energy into their home and live with it.... See it often.... Enjoy the energy they sense from it. By Not trusting people, she makes the assumption that people are not trust- worthy. Nobody likes to be suspected.... And categorize as not trust worthy. Especially because t...

The dance between a man and woman.....

Every time I post a joke or make a remark about marriage, or about the relationship between a man and a woman, I get a lot of dust rising from that post. It seems to stir something within people. The relationship between the sexes, has a sensitive spot which whispers about a mystery......A clash.... A struggle to understand each other,....... A contradiction,............ A pull of powers and a difficulty to connect with the 'other' world.... Many psychological books were written about this subject, the most famous of them is "Men are from Mars, women are from Venus." They all imply that women and men, are somehow 'wired' differently, and that we need to learn to 'understand' each other and connect without conflict, because there are fundamental differences between us. This belief is the premise of the problem and it is the cause of many of the conflicts, that can never be bridged on this level of understanding. I hold a very different belief which I wi...

Why some talented people are not successful?....

Some artists are exceptionally talented, yet they are not able to manifest much monetary success from their art career. The search for success, in many ways, parallels a search for discovering our own powers. We posses an inner knowing, that if others were able to manifest success, we can do it also. Yet, we carry the feeling that we are standing at the door, but holding the wrong set of keys... What I am about to say, may sound like Metaphysical crap to some... But I got to say it, because it is TRUE..... I have seen it: "All it takes is to change your belief system and habits. The outside world will rearranged itself accordingly.... it will seem miraculous to you... except it is NOT really a miracle, but a natural result of the inner shift you’ll make. The world is waiting for you to get yourself into alignment.... it WANTS you to come home..." Success is a skill that needs to be learnt, developed and nurtured. You need to embody the qualities of a success...

Understanding the energy of money... Or the value of the dollar.

I set out to write about the energy of money. But my experience has showed me, that talking metaphysically about money and its place in the larger scheme, only makes people nod their heads in agreement, but does NOT help them put it into practice in their daily lives. I remember a book I've read years ago, called: "The trick to money is having some..." So I will start at the beginning and continue exploring it in phases, over a few notes. Please forgive me if I will not start by analyzing money in larger terms. My goal is to help you HAVE SOME..... (that is if you are unhappy with your financial situation) In order to have something in your life, or to be good at it, you need to first understand it. Think of it as an art form, or a skill you must develop. To be good at your craft or art, you need to explore it, practice it often, find out what others are doing right, and learn what to do, what are your pitfalls and how to overcome them. It is the same with money. In order...

About the illusion of surrounding yourself with "positive" people.

Some people who make the shift into living with greater awareness, may think that in order to maintain a "positive outlook" on life, they need to surround themselves with like minded people, who will support their points of views.   They feel that being around "negative" people, will derail them from their chosen path, and will surmount difficulties in their attempt to be more life affirming and positive.   What a silly lie.... It does not hold ground on so many levels....   First there are no negative or positive people, emotions, or situations.   These are only opportunities to practice who you are, by choosing your responses.   You decide what the situation calls for and you decide whether to be gracious, funny, insightful or mean.   An example will be if you encounter a person being mean or cynical. The first reaction is to think that this man is acting mean,..... not just mean period, but mean TOWARDS YOU.   The anger based person will say to this man: "ge...
