Diving The Beautiful Coral Wall in Bunaken Indonesia
Diving the Beautiful Coral Wall in Bunaken, Indonesia
Right off the coast of Bunaken Island, there is a huge coral wall that almost encircles the island.
It drops down into the ocean for three hundred meters (about 900 feet).
Unlike other places, there is no trash in the water, and the wall is absolutely stunning.
There is a huge variety of live coral with bright colors, fish, turtles, sea slugs, and well-camouflaged fish that you would never recognize at first, second or even third glances.
The dives were easy, even though on some days there was a strong current.
The visibility improved during the week we stayed in Bunaken, even though it rained a little every day.
The water is nice and warm at about 27 degrees Celsius (80.6 Fahrenheit) every day.
The ocean is mysterious, inviting exploration and admiration.
I am truly at awe at the landscapes and magical moments I spend under the sea.
The boat crew did all they can to give us a first class diving experience.
They made sure we drank lots of water before and after the dives, helped us identify rare fish we would have never recognized, and pointed to hidden crabs and Nudi branches, frog fish, leaf fish, blow fish and other exciting things.
Because I took so many photos while diving, I will post my last photos in this post and the one after it.
From here, we move on to Kyoto, Japan.
We soaked up a lot of sun, met some amazing people who dived with us, rested, saw lots of amazing creatures and even meditated every afternoon.
From Indonesia, with love and light,
Tali
